How to use this page
Read one case below per day for the next seven days. Each one is a self-contained edition built on a real, named, dated event. Each one demonstrates a different part of the operating system at work. None of them define the framework they show it running.
By Day 7, you will have seen the whole machine in motion. The live editions that arrive each weekday will land in vocabulary you already speak.
Total time: under 30 minutes across seven days. Less than five minutes a day.

Day 1 — The Score Was Already Decided
Boeing 737 MAX. The grounding was not the failure. It was the math finishing — five years late.
Day 2 — The Information Was Never the Problem
Silicon Valley Bank. Executives knew about the duration mismatch in 2021. They could not act on it in 2023.
